The Hamburg Automuseum expanded its permanent exhibition in July 2023 with the exhibition "The Italian Job". Since then, a dedicated exhibition space has been used to showcase classic Italian cars that not only impress with their design, but also with their history and technology.
From October 19, 2024, the second part of "The Italian Job" will start with the following loans:
1956 Maserati A6G/54 Zagato (six-cylinder, 1985 cc, 150 hp, 209 km/h, 840 kg)
This elegant hatchback coupé fully embodies the principles of the Zagato coachbuilder: it is very light, aerodynamically very effective and at the same time very stable.
1961 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta "SWB" (V12, 2953 cc, 280 hp, 268 km/h, 1100 kg)
It is considered one of the most attractive and sought-after sports cars of the early 1960s and continues to inspire as a road-going racing sports car today.
1974 Lancia Stratos HF Stradale (V6, 2418 cc, 190 hp, 230 km/h, 980 kg)
The Stratos was developed for rallying: wedge-shaped, purist and uncompromising.
1975 Ferrari 365 GT/4 BB (V12, 4390 cc, 380 hp, 300 km/h, 1160 kg)
A turning point at Ferrari: the 365 GT/4 BB was the first Ferrari road model to be powered by a twelve-cylinder mid-engine, which enabled a completely new design language.
1984 Ferrari GTO (V8, 2855 cc, 400 hp, 305 km/h, 1160 kg)
It marked the beginning of the super sports car era at Ferrari: the GTO, unofficially also known as the 288 GTO, was a highly sought-after collector's item right from the start: powerful and elegant.
