A u t o m o b I i MODENA, 28th February 1991 FIRST "PRODUCTION" CIZETA COMPLETED The first Cizeta V 16 T to be produced using the equipment and methods developed for smallseries factory production of this spectacular GT has been completed in Modena today. The Modena factory is displaying its first car in righthand drive version, one "semifinished" bodywork, on lefthand drive chassis and the jewel in its crown, the 16- cylinder engine. ANOTHER SEVEN In the meantime another seven cars are already IN PRODUCTION on the production line with delivery scheduled for this year. From 1992, the Modena firm plans to produce twenty cars annually. CRAFTSMAN PRODUCTION Naturally, this is smallseries production; virtually craftsman production to order, just like the few remaining bespoke tailors. Cizeta actually produces by hand, even if in order to ensure constant quality the highly skilled workmen use a large number of patterns and jigs specially manufactured to give the cars the same constant quality standard as machineproduced vehicles. SPECIAL TECHNOLOGIES AND MATERIALS The structure of Cizeta is in two different buildings, one for the construction of the chassis and bodywork and the other for final assembly of the mechanical, electrical, testing and delivery.
