To many it is a sleek, wellgroomed charmer that will add piquancy to any motoring scene; a status symbol in busi ness and a valued possession socially. The perfect motor car has yet to be built because it is not possible to satisfy every body's individual requirements. In the mean time the Rover 2000 has shown that it appeals to a very wide range of tastes. It possesses all the attributes mentioned above as well as many hidden virtues which only become ap parent after long association. So far it has won the ‘Car of the Year' award, Gold Medals for coachwork and the A A Gold Medal for safety.
