The past season has shown beyond possible doubt the success of the many outstanding features embodied in Rover cars, many of which were pioneered by Rover, and have since been adopted by other manufacturers. These features are retained for 1935 with additions, and the following are some of the interesting items embodied in the specifications :— High efficiency O.H.V. Engines mounted in specially designed flexible mountings and giving an output of smooth, silent power, approximately four times their rating. Controlled Freeivheel eliminating the need for clutch operation when changing gear. Automatic Chassis Lubrication. Underslung Chassis, resulting in extraordinary road holding and riding comfort. Superpowerful brakes, smooth and progressive in action. Harmonic Stabiliser, rendering steering absolutely correct at all speeds. Automatic Thermostat to maintain the water at the correct temperature. Low built bodies with wide doors, low floor line and ample head room. Easy Jacking System obviates the need for groping. Steel Scuttle of great strength, insulating the body from noise, heat and fumes. Controlled Battery Charging. Rate of charging varies automatically according to needs of battery.
