... minimarcos The M ini Marcos GT. provides a unique opportunity for the motoring enthusiast to build his own versatile sports car utilising B.M.C. M ini parts. The body/chassis units are supplied in three stages to accept the front and rear subframe assemblies, steering, electrics, hydraulics, suspension, etc., taken from any of the M ini range, including Coopers and Vans. Full Assembly Instructions are supplied for fitting these parts into the body/chassis units which are manufactured in natural finish, high impact, corrosionfree glass fibre; metal plates are laminated in for suspension, rack, subframe, safety belt mountings, etc. A full w id th wooden dashboard is supplied ready drilled to accept M ini instruments and safety glass is used for the windscreen and all the w indows. The side w indow s are vertically sliding fitted in highly polished alloy frames. Marcos have supplied over 500 of these successful conversions w ithou t sacrificing any of the strength of the B.M.C.
