To Heat the Interior of Car: Slide the Temperature Control Lever all the way rearward to the wärmest Position; turn the Blower Control Knob to the right (clockwise) to center detent for Medium speed; and depress the pushbutton marked Heat. After the interior of the car warms up, adjust the Tem perature Control Lever and the Blower Control Knob to maintain a comfortable temperature. To Defrost or Defog the Windshield: Slide the Temperature Control Lever all the way rearward to the wärm est Position; turn the Blower Control Knob fully right (clockwise) to High speed detent; and depress the pushbutton marked Def. When the windshield clears, if continued defogging is required, adjust the Temperature Control Lever and the Blower Control Knob to maintain a clear windshield. If heating the interior of car is also desired, depress the pushbutton marked Heat and adjust the Temperature Con trol Lever and the Blower Control Knob to maintain a comfortable temperature. Düring heating, some air is directed onto windshield to prevent fogging. button marked Cool; and turn the Blower Control Knob to either the High, Medium or Low speed according to the amount of Ventilation desired.
