Dealers Impressed by Quality Standard Frankonia, Ltd. of Zurich Appointed Distributors Switzerland has reopened her market to the new Britishbuilt version of the Heinkel car, world manufacturing and sales rights for which v/ere acquired last autumn by Trojan Ltd. of Croydon, Surrey. The new interest follows upon the exhibit of two of the Trojan- Heinkel cars at the recent Motorcycle Exhibition in Zurich. Leading Swiss dealers were greatly impressed by the quality of the vehicle, the finish of which they considered comparable to the high standard of those at one time received from Germany. As a result of the exhibition, Frankonia Ltd. of Zurich, who showed the cars, have been appointed Trojan-Heinkel distributors in Switzerland. ROOM FOR. FOUR The Trojan-Heinkel is powered by a singlecylinder, aircooled, overheadvalve engine which develops 10 brake horsepower at 5>500 r.p.m. Top speed is 55 miles an hour and the car will cruise easily all day at 45 m.p.h. It accommodates two adults and two children, has a flipback sun roof and in normal use does 95 miles on a gallon of commercialgrade fuel. /continued ...Source:Archiv
