Behind the DeLuxe steering wheel is the remarkably handsome dashboard, woodgrained in the European tradition, with its correctly positioned cluster of easily read, clear, sports type instrumentation. The dashboard is heavily padded both top and bottom, with additional special padding around the radio controls. Rich fabrics and vinyls are standard for upholstery and trim, as are the electronically calibrated clock, and cigarette lighter, dual horns, backup lights. A front betweenseat padded console increases driver comfort while providing a handy, handsome liftlid storage compartment for personal effects. The "stick" of the optional fourspeed floor mounted gearshift is located immediately in front of the console's leading edge.
