From 1986 to 1994, Saab built the Saab 900 Cabriolet with four-cylinder engines, which were equipped with or without turbochargers. Almost 50,000 units were sold, and Americans in particular were obsessed with the Swedish convertible. Thanks to four full-size seats and a weatherproof soft top, the car was suitable for use all year round and, thanks to the good build quality, this is still the case today. This driving report describes the history of the Saab 900 Cabriolet and shows it in historical and new pictures.
