It is impossible to imagine Le Mans without Porsche. On June 23, 1951, a race car from Stuttgart lined up on the grid in the Sarthe for the first time; since then, the brand has made around 800 starts with 103 class wins and 16 overall victories. Porsche will be back at Le Mans in 2014 and legendary Le Mans participants were invited to drive in Hockenheim as a warm-up. This report gives impressions of the press event and shows in particular the Porsche 917, 935, 936 and 956 in detail in the picture.

Porsche in the DTM?
Some would have liked it, but Porsche did not take part in the DTM finale in Hockenheim on October 17/18, 2015, but instead put on a demonstration of legends. Seven historic cars from the Porsche Museum drove through the Motodrom. This report shows the seven cars and the drivers and gives a brief insight into the technology of the racing cars.
