Kaiser Deluxe 1951 - years ahead of the competition

Between 1950 and 1955, Kaiser-Frazer built the Special/Deluxe/Manhattan model, whose design by Howard 'Dutch' Darrin was several years ahead of the competition. However, as the largest independent car manufacturer in post-war America, Kaiser was unable to assert itself against the big three.
