When William Towns, the designer of the Aston Martin DBS and Lagonda, presented his Hustler in the fall of 1979, the world was amazed. The "workhorse" was supposed to be simple, practical and inexpensive, but above all it was fruitful, because within a few years there were a large number of variants and versions, some of them even with a body made almost entirely of wood.
