Thomas Alexander Fermor-Hesketh did not spend much time on child's play. After selling his Formula 1 team to Walter Wolf, he wanted to single-handedly save the British motorcycle industry. Of course, despite several attempts, things went horribly wrong. Not even 200 Hesketh V1000s were built between 1980 and 1984.
