The Gordon Keeble (and its predecessor, the Gordon GT) is regarded as one of the best sports cars built in the early 1960s. Its driving performance and outstanding handling would have secured it a place in the GT Olympus, but financial and supplier problems drove the manufacturing company to ruin and instead of 1,000 coupés a year, only 100 vehicles were ever built. Most of these cars with English construction ideas, Italian design and American performance have survived. This report describes the exciting history of the Gordon Keeble, supplemented by contemporary and modern illustrations, original brochures and press documents.
