The DB Le Mans, which was presented by Charles Deutsch and René Bonnet's small car company at the Paris Motor Show in 1959, promised Porsche performance and almost supernatural handling. Despite its interesting layout, the open-top sports car remained a rarity. No more than 300 examples were built until 1964. This vehicle report describes the circumstances and history of the plastic sports car and shows it in historical and contemporary pictures.
