A Delahaye 135 S from 1936 had no fewer than four bodies. One of the interim bodies, hammered by the sheet metal artists at Hebmüller, even survived on another Delahaye chassis. The fact that both cars came under the hammer at the same auction is certainly no coincidence. But the story is interesting in any case. This vehicle report describes the metamorphoses of a special racing Delahaye and shows it together with the Hebmüller Coupé in current and historical pictures.
