Independent front and rear suspension, adjustable dampers, electrically selectable choke, three valves per cylinder, almost 100 hp from 1.5 liters of displacement - it all sounds more like modern times or at least the 1980s, but these attributes belonged to the Atalanta Sport Tourer of 1938! With these features, the Atalanta was probably one of the most modern cars that could be bought for use in normal road traffic at the time.
