Yue Long 1986-1992 - the first car developed in Taiwan
Summary
There were around 10,000 car brands and designers - most of them have disappeared. One of these brands is Yue Long. In 1957, an agreement was concluded with Nissan, which led to the founding of Tue Loong Motor Co. It then took until 1981 for the Tue Long brand to launch its first own model, the Feeling 101, which was also the first car to be developed in Taiwan. However, as early as 1993, the vehicle was replaced by another model, this time under the Yulon brand.

After the Second World War, a distinction was first made between People's China and National China, then between the People's Republic of China on the mainland and the Republic of China on Taiwan. Thanks to the capitalist-oriented market, motorization progressed faster on this island than in the giant communist empire. From 1953, Ching-Ling Yen built a plant in Miaoli, where the Willys Jeep MB off-road vehicle was produced from 1956 to 1964. An agreement concluded with Nissan in 1957 led to the founding of Yue Loong Motor Co., Ltd. which built Nissan Alias Datsun models under the YLN brand, some of which already had more modern successors in Japan.
