On April 27, 2013, part of Don Davis' collection went under the hammer at RM Auctions in Forth Worth (Texas, USA). Don Davis is an American collector who has been hunting for exquisite cars for decades and now obviously needs to make some room for further acquisitions. 64 of his vehicles were all offered without a reserve price and it wasn't just the world record price for a Toyota 2000 GT that surprised. This report looks at some of the offers, describes the auction process and shows most of the lots in detail in pictures. The detailed results, including estimated prices, are summarized in a table.
