There were around 10,000 car brands and designers - most of them have disappeared. Veritas is one of these vanished brands. Founded in 1948, Veritas GmbH produced the Coupé Saturn, Cabriolet Scorpion and the Roadster Comet, among others, which were built in Rastatt. Then came the financial collapse and sales of the few vehicles still produced by the Spohn bodywork plant in Ravensburg were rather poor. No more than 200 of these models were ever sold.
