Early vehicles from the history of the automobile enjoy a dedicated but not infinitely large circle of enthusiasts. The cars from the brass age have their own charm, but require a great deal of sensitivity and continuous care from their owners if they are to be driven on the road from time to time, e.g. on the "London-Brighton Run". Anyone still looking for a suitable car to take part in the event could become the proud owner of a turn-of-the-century car at Bonhams in London on October 31. With 11 vehicles sold out of an offer of 24 examples, Bonhams achieved a sales quota of 48%, which is of course not entirely satisfactory from the auctioneer's point of view. However, expectations were also high, as the estimated average value was 153,000 British pounds, 233,300 Swiss francs or 192,000 euros.
