On September 28, 2019, RM/Sotheby's auctioned off John Dixon's Porsche and Volkswagen collection. A total of 32 vehicles from Volkswagen, Porsche and other brands came under the hammer. A buggy and some interesting conversions caused a sensation, while various VW Beetles and original Porsches sold well below expectations in some cases. The highest bid was for a Porsche 356 A Carrera GT Speedster from 1957. This auction report analyzes the results and shows all the vehicles in pictures.
