On August 19 and 20, RM/Sotheby's hosted its well-established two-day sale event in Monterey as part of Pebble Beach Week, bringing just over 100 vehicles (and a watch) worth over USD 160 million under the hammer. A Jaguar D-Type and an Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 made for high-profile world records, but in their shadows there were also some bargain opportunities. This report analyzes the auction results and shows most of the vehicles in pictures.
