RM/Sotheby's auctioned 120 vehicles of various designs, from horse-drawn carriages to bicycles and racing cars, in Monaco, without the front man Max Girardo. A few engines and two boats were also among them. Although the majority of the lots were sold, the unsold Ferrari 275 GTS/4 NART Spider is likely to hurt, especially as a high bid of EUR 17 million was received for the rare sports car. Other expensive cars fared in the same way, while some lots that were actually estimated at low prices literally pulverized the estimates, as this auction report analyses.
