On October 6 and 7, 2016, RM/Sotheby's auctioned a total of 113 automobiles, including a few children's cars, motorcycles and automobilia, as well as some classic cars such as the 300 SL and E-Type, but mainly American and British automobiles with a high pre-war component, with a total value of around USD 14.5 million. The bidders were very enthusiastic and the sales rate of 88% was impressive, even though the price level (including commission/surcharge) was around 10% below the estimated values. This auction report analyzes the results and shows the vehicles in pictures.
