From September 22 to 24, 2022, RM/Sotheby's auctioned the collection of American enthusiast Gene Ponder, who had a love for beautiful cars from the 1930s to 1950s, but also for MG and Italian and French coachbuilders in particular. 98 cars came under the hammer alongside over 1000 automobilia and around two dozen motorcycles, including super classics such as a 300 SL Roadster and a Bugatti 57 SC Atlantic. This auction report analyzes the results and shows all the cars in pictures.
