Photo Gallery «RM/Sotheby's Arizona auction 2020 - high sales rate, but also considerable losses»
Once again, RM/Sotheby's called classic car enthusiasts together on January 16-17, 2020 at the Arizona Bitmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix to offer 145 vehicles with a total value of almost USD 49 million as part of the Scottsdale Auction Week. With a sales rate of 90% and a total turnover of USD 30.3 million for the vehicles, RM/Sotheby's did better than expected. However, individual consignors had to settle for top bids well below half of expectations. In the end, around USD 237,000 was paid per vehicle. As some even more valuable cars fell by the wayside, a 2018 Pagani Huayra Roadster was the most expensive car, followed by a Ferrari 330 GTS and a Lamborghini Miura. All results and pictures of the cars, including analysis, can be found in the auction report.
