RM/Sotheby's closed the auction week on March 5, 2022 at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elégance. 88 cars went under the hammer, with an average age of 53 years. However, it was primarily very old and very young cars that fetched millions, while a VW-Porsche 914/6 went for USD 544,000 and a BMW 850i for USD 218,400. However, a Ford V8, a Ferrari Testarossa and a Porsche 917/30 in 2:3 scale exceeded expectations the most.
