Photo Gallery «RM/Sotheby's Amelia Island 2020 - no trace of restraint»
RM/Sotheby's auctioned 145 automobiles and a Vespa scooter on March 5 and 6, 2020 at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elégance in Florida. The vehicles represented a broad spectrum and were offered with a high level of risk (70 percent with no reserve price). As a result, one or two bidders got their dream classic car for almost half the price. Overall, however, the prices were fair to high, and demand and interest were considerable. Only 10 cars remained unsold, the sales rate was 93 percent. On average, each classic car went for USD 263,000, with bids averaging 86 percent of the median estimate. This auction report analyzes the results and shows all the vehicles in the picture.
