Photo Gallery «RM Open Road Fall 2020 - less than half of the cars sold (online)»
It was RM/Sotheby's last classic auction of the 2020 coronavirus year and it was held exclusively online. What was Hershey in other years was now simply a "fall auction". On offer were 77 motorized vehicles, including a motorcycle. The average age of the vehicles on offer was 54 years old and clearly American-dominated, with the typical European super classics largely absent. 47 percent of the vehicles were sold, on average for USD 109,500. On average, the highest bids amounted to 79 percent of the median estimate per lot. One Austin-Healey was a surprise. This auction report analyzes the results and shows the vehicles in pictures.
