There have been around 10,000 car brands and designers - most of them have disappeared. Prince is one of these vanished brands. Formed from the merger of two former Japanese aircraft manufacturers, Prince Motors Co. produced mid-range passenger cars. At the end of 1966, it was merged with Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. and mainly Nissan models continued to be produced.
