Summary
As every year, the Oldtimer Galerie Toffen auctioned 55 vehicles, including six motorcycles and a boat, at the Swiss Classic World on May 30, 2026. 41 vehicles were either knocked down directly or "under reserve", with an average price of over CHF 100,000 per vehicle sold. The Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ sold for the highest price, while some of the other cars were disappointing. However, the barn-find Porsche 356, which was widely commented on in advance, also found a new owner. This auction review describes the mood, analyzes the results and shows the vehicles in pictures.

The Oldtimer Galerie Toffen auction has been a fixture on the program of the Swiss Classic World classic car fair in Lucerne for years. On May 30, 2026, Serge Stotzer and his team auctioned off 55 vehicles, including six motorcycles and a boat. A third of the lots, which together were estimated at around CHF 5.9 million, were offered without a reserve price. In the end, 55% of the vehicles were sold directly, while a further 20% were knocked down "subject to reserve". Experience shows that around 1/3 to half of the latter can still be sold afterwards, which would improve the sales rate to around 61 to 65%.
