There have been around 10,000 car brands and designers - most of which have disappeared. One of these vanished brands is Moretti, founded in 1945 and active until 1990. In the beginning, the Morettis were individual alternatives to Fiat models, later modifications of Fiat vehicles. The Moretti (Fiat) 128 and 124 fastback coupés were attractive, but the Moretti Midimaxi 127 leisure model was also a great success.
