There have been around 10,000 car brands and designers - most of which have disappeared. One of these vanished brands is Marcos from 1958. The first model from the merger of Marsh and Costin was extravagant. New models and sub-brands were added. Production was discontinued in 1973, only to be resumed in 1982. The Marcos TSO Chevy with a V-8 engine came to an end in 2004.
