Actually a good idea! The AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix attracts tens of thousands of racing and classic car enthusiasts every year, which is exactly the target group for a classic car auction. In 2012, however, Coys was only partially successful. Interesting but mixed offer Formula 1 cars, sports prototypes, GT racing cars, but also rare classics were on offer. 55 items were called out on August 11, ranging from a Fiat Bianchina Giardinera to a Honda CR 72, motorcycles and cars mixed together. Highlights included a Mercedes 300 SL, a 1963 ATS GTS and a Jaguar SS 100. A Ferrari F1 (412 T 1 B from 1994) was also on the lot list.
