Summary
Gooding & Co. auctioned 114 items from the Mullin Automotive Museum on April 26, 2024, including mainly four-wheeled vehicles, but also two and three-wheeled vehicles, as well as some vehicle components and horse trailers. Everything was there, from top-restored cars to restoration objects. The estimate was just over USD 13.5 million. Almost USD 19 million was realized, with a Bugatti alone achieving a third of this.

Preview (beginning of the article)
The late Peter Mullin was certainly a fan of French cars. This could be seen in his museum, but was also impressively documented by the offerings from his estate, which Gooding & Company brought under the hammer on April 26, 2024 at the former Mullin Automotive Museum. More than two thirds of the 114 lots are of French origin. In addition to automobiles, there were also bicycles, motorcycles, horse-drawn carriages and vehicle components (engines, chassis) up for auction. Gooding did not fail to mention that virtually all of the cars had been parked for a long time and would probably need some work before being put on the market.
