There were around 10,000 car brands and designers - most of them have disappeared. One of these vanished brands is Goggomobil, which mainly brought small cars onto the market between 1955 and 1969. The Goggomobil was the alternative to the cabin scooter and, like the Beetle, was based on a platform frame.
