The 26th Geneva Motor Show opened its doors from March 8 to 18, 1956. 792 exhibitors from 10 countries presented the entire range of personal mobility products, from the smallest vehicle to the full-size bus. Among the premieres, the Renault Dauphine was the star, but there were many other innovations to discover on the many stands. This report describes the atmosphere and vehicles at the Geneva Motor Show in 1956 and shows them in over 110 historical and painstakingly restored illustrations.
