On December 1, 2018, the Wiesenthal collection went under the hammer at Dorotheum, 13 sought-after Mercedes-Benz models including the Gullwing and the 600. Around EUR 3.6 million was expected for all the cars, but in the end it was almost EUR 5 million. Bids of up to 2.6 times the estimated value were made, e.g. for the 450 SEL 6.9 and 560 SEL saloons. The Gullwing fetched almost EUR 1.5 million. This auction report analyzes the results and shows all the cars in pictures.
