There were around 10,000 car brands and designers - most of them have disappeared. One of these vanished brands is Delage, which produced vehicles from 1905 to 1954. Brilliant from the outset with advanced technology and successful in races (Indianapolis 500 miles, French Grand Prix), Delage won the hearts (and wallets) of the haute volee clientele. Delage was then taken over by Delahaye.
