There have been around 10,000 car brands and designers - most of which have disappeared. One of these lost brands is DB, founded by Charles Deutsch and René Bonnet. They created their first production model in 1954. Various DB cars won races at Le Mans in the years that followed until the founding duo split up in 1961 and each went their own way.
