Summary
It was very clear that the connoisseurs and experienced collectors were in attendance at the Zoute Concours auction organized by Borad Arrow Auctions. Because there were no big surprises. Many a hammer fell quite precisely at the expected price, and the bidders in the room, on the phone or online had no great interest in wishful thinking and subjunctives of all kinds in Belgium on October 10.

Preview (beginning of the article)
An early Porsche Turbo remained pretty much exactly where the upper limit for well-preserved examples currently lies. Nobody was prepared to bid the lowest estimate of 250,000 euros. In the case of the Porsche Carrera GT, the parties apparently came to an agreement during the auction after a highest bid of 1,200,000 euros and the predicate "not sold". The 1937 Frazer Nash TT Replica was one of the few pre-war cars in an auction that was dominated by more recent lots. It was therefore all the more pleasing that this particular car - described in detail on Zwischengas - even exceeded the upper estimate and was knocked down for 230,000 euros, or 264,500 euros including the 15 percent sales commission that Broad Arrow adds for amounts up to 250,000 euros. Above this amount, the auctioneer's fee is still 12.5 percent.
