The Bonhams auction, which is held on the occasion of the Zoute Grand Prix in Knokke-Heist, has already become a tradition. On October 9, the time had come again and the auctioneer was ready to raise the hammer on 48 post-war classics, ranging from vintage to modern times. A total of Euro 7.2 million or CHF 7.8 million was paid for the 35 vehicles sold, an average of around Euro 205,000 or CHF 224,000. The sales price achieved (including commission, but excluding VAT on commission) averaged 98.6% of the estimated value. Four E-Types were on the Zoute lot list, two coupés and two roadsters.
