The 35 cars offered by Bonhams in Newport (USA) on April 29, 2023 certainly felt like a journey back to the beginnings of American automobile construction. All the cars were sold, on average 15% more than expected, and a Thomas Model 18 sold for almost three times the estimated price. Over USD 107,000 was paid per car.
