Summary
Bonhams also organized its first auction of the year with the Scottsdale event. Compared to other years, the 53 cars on offer were more manageable, but with a turnover of USD 10.94 million, a good result was achieved, especially as 89% of the cars were sold. A Bugatti Chiron provided the best result, three Alfa Romeos the biggest positive surprises. But there were also cars that sold 70% below expectations. This auction review analyzes the results and shows impressions and pictures of the cars.

Preview (beginning of the article)
Every year, Bonhams organizes an auction in Scottsdale, and on 23 January 2026, 53 cars worth around USD 14.3 million were offered for sale alongside some automobilia, two motorcycles and a trailer. Compared to other years, the selection was smaller; there have also been Scottsdale auctions with around twice as many vehicles. Accordingly, the auction, in which most of the cars drove across the stage, did not quite last three hours and twenty minutes. Around two-fifths of the vehicles at the Bonhams auctions came from the USA, with Chevrolet and Ford being the two US brands most strongly represented. The Porsche contingent was even larger, with the highest number of eight cars, five of which were successfully sold.
