Photo Gallery «Bonhams Monaco 2022 - valuable Bugatti and neoclassic cars with high prices»
On the occasion of the Monaco Grand Prix Historique, Bonhams auctioned 35 automobiles at the Fairmont Hotel in Monte Carlo on May 13, 2022, which together left little to be desired in terms of versatility. With a sales rate of 74% and a turnover of EUR 11.5 million, the auction was a success, even if not all the cars were sold at the desired price. Highlights included a Bugatti Type 35B from 1927 and a Type 37 from 1929 as well as three more recent Mercedes-Benz cars, but a Williams Supertec F1 and two Aston Martins also shone. Famous previous owners only helped to a limited extent, however. This auction review analyzes the results and shows all the vehicles in pictures.
