Photo Gallery «Bonhams London-Brighton Auction 2018 - sought-after automobiles from the early days»
On November 2, 2018, Bonhamsn auctioned 13 pre-1905 cars that are eligible to compete in the prestigious event on the occasion of the historic "London to Brighton" racing event. Three quarters of the vehicles were sold for a total of £ 1.6 million, although the highest bids were on average around 18 percent below the average expectations. The most expensive car sold was the Darracq 24 hp Model JJ Rear-entrance Tonneau from 1903. This auction report shows all the vehicles in the picture and lists the detailed sales results.
