Summary
On the occasion of the annual Goodwood Revival, Bonhams once again auctioned off just over 100 historic automobiles on September 14, 2019. Many Aston Martin, Bentley and Jaguar represented the best times of the British car industry. An average of £172,000 was expected per vehicle, but £128,118 was realized, which corresponded to a sales total of just over £8.2 million. However, four cars were withdrawn in advance and one of the highlights, an Aston Martin DB4 GT, was sold before the auction. As a result, a Bugatti 57 Atalante became the most expensive car in the auction. This report analyzes the results and shows the vehicles in pictures.

On the occasion of the annual Goodwood Revival , Bonhams once again auctioned off just over 100 historic automobiles (and some automobilia as well as a work of art by Bansky) on Saturday, September 14, 2019. 103 lots eventually went under the hammer at the auction, after one of the highlights, an Aston Martin DB4 GT, was sold before the auction for an undisclosed amount (you wouldn't be wrong to guess at around £2 million). Four cars had been withdrawn before the auction began. On average, the cars were valued at £172,000. Many cars were well below £100,000. Only seven lots were offered without a reserve price, so nobody in Chichester wanted to take a high risk.
