Preview (beginning of the article)
At 13:00 on April 14, 2024, Bonhams began the auction of 100 cars worth around £ 8.5 million in the tent on the occasion of the super exciting race of the 30 Ford Mustangs as part of the Ken Miles Cup. In addition to the cars, 90 memorabilia items were also offered beforehand, but the bidders were not particularly enthusiastic. 27% of the cars went under the hammer without a reserve price. The auction lasted around 4.5 hours, and those who stayed in the Bonhams tent missed out on some of the racing action on the Goodwood circuit. But those with enough patience were able to get their hands on some interesting classics, some of which came from collections.
