Photo Gallery «Bonhams Den Hartogh auction 2018 - an entire museum was sold»
On June 23, 2018, the world's largest Ford collection was sold in its entirety in Hillegom in the Netherlands, with a total of around 300 lots. An average of almost EUR 28,000 was paid per car, which was well above expectations. A 1905 Ford Model B Side Entrance Tonneau was sold for almost six times its expected value, clearly illustrating the trend towards high valuations for early examples. This auction report analyzes the results and shows some of the vehicles and an insight into the former museum in the picture.
